1. Using Varican

Varican is a professional profile and portfolio builder. It is designed to help users create a simple, polished profile that can be edited privately and published when eligible.

By using Varican, you agree to use the platform responsibly and only for lawful professional, portfolio, personal-branding, or related profile purposes.

2. Accounts

You may need an account to build and manage your profile. You are responsible for the information you provide, the security of your password, and activity that happens under your account.

We may limit, suspend, or close accounts that misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or violate these terms.

3. Profiles, drafts, and publishing

You can create and edit your profile privately for free. Private draft sharing may be available so you can share a preview link before publishing publicly.

Public publishing, search visibility, analytics, branding removal, and other premium features depend on the active plan attached to your account.

Free profiles or shared draft views may include Varican branding.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Paid features are provided through subscription plans. Subscription prices, billing cycles, and plan permissions are shown on the pricing page and in your billing dashboard.

Payments are processed through Paystack hosted checkout. Varican does not ask you to enter card details directly inside the profile builder.

Subscriptions may renew automatically according to the billing cycle selected during checkout unless auto-renewal is cancelled.

If your subscription expires, fails, is cancelled, or otherwise becomes inactive, premium features may be limited or disabled.

5. Refunds, cancellation, and transferability

Completed subscription payments are final and are not refundable once the subscription purchase has been successfully processed and the subscription period has started.

If you are charged more than once for the same subscription period because of confirmed duplicate billing, we may refund the duplicate payment. Any applicable payment-provider, bank, processing, currency-conversion, or refund charges may be deducted from the refunded amount or otherwise remain payable by you.

Subscriptions are assigned to the account used to purchase them. A subscription, subscription period, payment, or associated premium access cannot be transferred to another user or account.

You may cancel subscription auto-renewal at any time through your billing dashboard. The billing dashboard allows you to manage your billing information and cancel Paystack subscription auto-renewal directly.

Cancelling auto-renewal does not immediately terminate or shorten an already paid subscription period. Your eligible paid access continues until the end of the current active subscription period, after which the subscription will not renew automatically.

Cancellation does not create a right to a full or partial refund for any unused time remaining in the active subscription period.

6. User content

You remain responsible for the text, images, links, media, and other content you add to your profile.

You confirm that you have the right to use and publish the content you upload or enter, and that your content does not violate another person’s rights.

7. Restrictions

You agree not to use Varican to:

• publish false, misleading, harmful, abusive, or unlawful content;
• upload malicious files, scripts, or content intended to damage the platform;
• attempt to access another user’s account, profile, drafts, or private data;
• copy, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform;
• use the platform for spam, impersonation, fraud, or deceptive activity.

8. Platform availability

We aim to keep Varican reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, hosting issues, third-party services, payment providers, or technical problems may affect access.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When changes are made, the updated date on this page will be revised.

Continued use of Varican after changes means you accept the updated terms.
